Once again, I am Clint Jerkovich, a 31 year Alaska resident, with about 15 years of self taught art and music experience.

The process...

Every work of mine consists of multiple methods to create the desired look. My most common shading technique requires quick, sweeping pen/pencil lines that connect on each side, giving the illusion of a bulk fade. Another includes the use of pencils, graphite and tortillion shade sticks and stumps for shading and dimension.

You may notice I've left a small white border around my works. This leaves enough room to mat and frame them, without covering any of the art.

Some of my originals involve a 2 stage process, finished original black and white version, and then a printed original colored version. After I put critical focus on my pen and/or pencil original, there is always a possibility that either a instrument malfunction,(faulty coloring tool) or operator error, (no ones perfect!), could blemish the work. Some, but not all of my originals are created this way. 

Why, and where ...

My decision to begin making marketable artwork started primarily through friends and family giving me alot of positive input about my art, and not letting up!

I am a teaching artist for the VSA of ND, I've attended many art venues throughout Alaska and North Dakota, I've been a vendor at the AK state fair for years, and completed hundreds of designs for personal and business use nationwide.
